Born: Denver, Colorao Favorite Pastime: Anything outside biking, skiing, camping Real Job: Social Media+Marketing Rugby Experience: My senior year at Summit High I decided to quit cross country and join the rugby team. Little did I know this would shape my entire life. I was lucky to play for Summit and go to win another Championship that season and we were so close to winning nationals but fell short that year, I also was lucky enough to be invited to play with the Under 20s select side USA team. It was a dream come true to play with such amazing players from all around the county. I went to CU Boulder for college and played on the rugby team. During my time I also was selected to play EURFO which was a traveling team out of Colorado that played all over Colorado + Florida. I sadly blew my knee out halfway through college that ended my playing days but I am so grateful to be on the coaching staff for the past 6 years

Alex Fitch
Head JV Coach - JV Teams
Born: Frisco, CO Favorite Pastime: Ski Mountaineering, Mountain Biking, Canyoneering, Reading Real Job: Marketing and Bradning at Pinnacle Companies Rugby Experience: Fitch’s rugby journey began with a bit of sibling inspiration. Watching his sister shine as an All-American rugby player at Summit High got him hooked. He started his own rugby team in college after a chance encounter with a Fijian holding a rugby ball. He even played a bit with Easts Tigers in Brisbane, Australia. Despite his football background, Fitch dove headfirst into rugby, much to the frustration of his football coaches. After playing with the Glendale Raptors and Merlins, traveling across the U.S., and chasing a rugby dream in New Zealand with Old Boys University, Fitch returned to Denver. While still playing his last full season with the Denver Water Dogs, he was asked to coach the Summit girls’ rugby team. Now, he balances coaching the Summit girls with occasionally strapping up his boots and picking up a ball with the Water Dogs.
